After moving in to their new-construction home in Wake Forest, these homeowners knew their home wouldn’t be complete until they created an outdoor living space to relax and enjoy the fall weather. This particular home is situated on a lot with a wooded lot. The sound of running water, a pond and water-plants were must-haves in the design, but it was most important that any design served to compliment and blend in with their surroundings.
Before we began, their backyard was a blank canvas. The stone wall enabled us to create a large flat area for the stone paver patio. We created a water feature to scale with the patio and walkway, and added night lighting into the wall and the pond both for safety and aesthetics. Natural landscaping and uplighting around the trees finished off a beautiful, yet natural outdoor area that seamlessly fit into their natural setting. These homeowners can now enjoy outdoor living for years to come.
